"4,000 years ago people of the Pinto Basin-Desert Culture fashioned split willow twigs into these tiny figures. The effigies have been found hidden in dark caverns in the Grand Canyon where, it is thought, they were used for ceremonial purposes. The Desert Culture people soon vanished leaving us to ponder the purpose of these archaic artifacts. This jewelry is hand-crafted in silver following the design used by the ancient artists."
